01Who is responsible and what this policy covers
Pactveris, LLC, an Averane Global Company, based in Arizona, United States, is responsible for the website and demo registration practices described here. Contact legal@pactveris.com with privacy questions or requests.
This Policy covers pactveris.com, demo.pactveris.com, inquiries sent to us, and related public website interactions. It describes us acting for our own website, security, and business-contact purposes. It does not replace a customer contract or data-processing agreement governing a production customer’s data. If a business uses Pactveris to manage your information, contact that business about its processing; we will assist where our applicable role and law require.
This Policy is a notice, not a request that you waive privacy rights or consent to all processing. Any consent needed for optional tracking or promotional messages is requested separately.
02Information we collect and its sources
- Registration and contact details: first name, last name, email address, and information you voluntarily include in an inquiry. Demo details come directly from your submitted form.
- Acceptance and preference records: demo terms version and content hash, acceptance time, required inquiry-contact acknowledgment, optional marketing choice, source website origin, and registration identifier. We do not treat acknowledgment of this Policy as optional marketing consent.
- Access and security information: access-token hashes, expiry information, necessary session identifiers, and request information used to operate and secure the service. The hosting provider processes network information such as IP address, requested URL, browser/request headers, timestamps, and security signals when serving requests. The demo gate uses a short-lived hash derived from the IP address to limit repeated registration attempts; the registration table does not store the raw IP address.
- Demo interactions: temporary sample inputs, selected roles, simulated workflow changes, audit entries, and the simulated outbox. Demo interactions should contain fictional information only.
- Optional measurement information, when enabled: page and event information described below for Google Analytics and approved in-house measurement. Consent choices are stored locally so the website can remember your selection.
We do not request payment-card information, government identifiers, health data, or real customer records for the demo. Do not submit them. We do not infer that every example field shown in the demo is information we need about you.
03Why we use information
We use information to provide requested demo access; validate registration and agreement requirements; associate requests with the correct temporary environment; respond to inquiries; communicate about your requested evaluation; prevent abuse and unauthorized access; maintain security and reliability; document preferences and accepted terms; handle privacy and legal requests; and comply with applicable obligations or establish and defend legal claims.
Where optional measurement is enabled with any required permission, it helps us understand website usage, diagnose problems, and improve the product presentation. Promotional email requires the applicable separate permission; the optional marketing checkbox is off by default. The required inquiry-contact acknowledgment is not permission for unrelated promotions or unlimited contact.
Where a legal basis is required, requested access and precontractual steps, legitimate interests in operating and protecting a business website and responding to inquiries, applicable legal obligations, and consent for optional activities may support the corresponding processing. We consider competing rights and use consent where the applicable rules require it. We do not rely on this paragraph to bypass an applicable consent requirement.
04In-house measurement, Google Analytics, and Search Console
Our planned in-house measurement tool is Pactveris Parallel. The owner has specified a seven-year retention period for its tracking records. No integration URL has been supplied and the tool is not connected to this website. Google Analytics and Google Search Console are not connected by this website release and will not be connected without a separate instruction. The Cookie Policy and Cookie settings panel describe the current optional-tracking status. Pactveris Parallel is planned for broad in-house behavioral measurement. Its actual collection fields have not yet been verified for this website. Potential categories include page visits, navigation and referral context, device/browser and network information, clicks, scrolling, interaction events, and error/performance information. Before activation, we must identify the actual categories, purposes, recipients, and retention and update these disclosures and controls. This Policy does not authorize undisclosed session replay, keystroke capture, form-content recording, fingerprinting, advertising identifiers, or cross-site profiling.
Google Analytics: when configured and permitted, it can receive website event and page information, device/browser information, referral information, and identifiers associated with measurement cookies. We must configure the actual event collection and retention before activation. Do not send names, email addresses, registration-form contents, or demo records in analytics events or URL parameters. Optional analytics stays off unless the required choice has been obtained.
Google Search Console: helps us review Google Search visibility and website indexing through Google’s reporting. Verification and reporting alone do not require installing a visitor analytics cookie on this Website. Search Console is distinct from Google Analytics and does not turn on analytics tags. Public marketing pages may be indexed by search engines. The gated demo remains non-indexable and access-controlled.
We do not currently enable advertising cookies, remarketing, or session recording on the marketing website. If those practices change, we will update the disclosures and implement the controls required before the new processing starts.
05Who receives information
Information may be accessed by authorized Pactveris personnel and Averane personnel supporting the website or operations on our behalf, only as appropriate to their responsibilities. Cloudflare provides hosting, delivery, security, database, and temporary demo-state infrastructure. Communication providers process messages you send us and our responses. If enabled, Google and an approved in-house measurement service receive the limited information needed for the disclosed measurement purpose and your applicable choice.
We may disclose information to professional advisers under appropriate obligations; authorities or other parties when law requires it or when reasonably necessary to investigate abuse, protect rights or safety, or establish or defend claims; and parties involved in a proposed or completed lawful business reorganization or transfer, subject to appropriate protections and notice where required.
We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising in the current website and demo configuration. Hosting and operational processing are not permission for providers to use registration data for unrelated advertising. Provider practices may also be described in their own notices, including Cloudflare’s privacy notice and Google’s privacy notice.
06How long information is kept
| Record | Current retention approach |
|---|---|
| Demo registration and acceptance records | Scheduled for deletion after 90 days. The registration database is purged daily; the admission record has a corresponding expiry/deletion schedule. Processing delays and provider recovery copies may cause residual retention beyond the scheduled deletion. |
| Demo access grant | Valid for up to two hours. The registration record documenting the grant follows the separate 90-day schedule. |
| Fictional demo session state | Designed to expire after approximately 45 minutes of inactivity; active requests can refresh that period. Cookie expiry, state deletion, and provider recovery retention are separate. |
| Registration rate-limit record | Short-lived IP-derived hash and counter with an approximately one-minute reset/deletion window; hosting security processing is separate. |
| Pactveris Parallel tracking records (planned) | Seven years from collection, subject to a documented lawful purpose and earlier deletion where required by law, an applicable rights request, or when the information is no longer needed. This does not extend demo registration or cookie lifetimes. Parallel is not yet connected. |
| Local privacy choice | Up to 180 days unless changed, cleared, or renewed sooner. No cross-device synchronization. |
| Inquiries, request handling, and correspondence | For the time reasonably needed to respond, manage the relationship, resolve the request, and meet applicable legal or recordkeeping needs. |
We may preserve a limited relevant record longer where required by law, a valid legal hold, or a documented need to establish or defend claims. This is not a promise to keep every registration indefinitely. Hosting logs and recovery copies follow the provider’s applicable configured retention and recovery arrangements; we do not promise immediate deletion from every backup. Information retained for a limited exception is restricted to the purpose of that exception. Optional analytics retention must be documented when the tool is configured.
07Your privacy rights and how to exercise them
Email legal@pactveris.com to request access, correction, deletion, information about recipients or uses, withdrawal of optional consent, or another right available under the law that applies to you. Depending on jurisdiction and our role, rights may also include portability, restriction, objection, appeal, or a complaint to a supervisory authority or attorney general. We do not require you to waive rights by using the Website.
Use the email associated with your request where possible and tell us the relevant website or demo interaction. We may request proportionate information to verify identity and an authorized agent’s authority. Do not send identity documents or sensitive information unless we specifically explain why a lawful verification step requires it. We will respond within the period required by applicable law and explain a lawful refusal or limitation. Rights may have legal exceptions; we will not deny a request solely because it concerns a demo.
You may appeal a denial where applicable law provides that right by replying to the decision or emailing our legal contact with “Privacy appeal” in the subject. We will not unlawfully discriminate or retaliate for exercising a privacy right.
08California and other United States privacy disclosures
The categories described above are collected directly from you, your browser, your interactions, and service providers for the purposes and recipients identified in this Policy. We do not assume that a comprehensive state consumer privacy statute applies merely because someone visits the Website. Where a state law applies, we honor the rights and obligations it provides, including applicable agent and appeal procedures.
Our current configuration does not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, use sensitive personal information for advertising or unrelated inference, or enable targeted advertising. Global Privacy Control and other legally recognized opt-out signals will be respected for any processing to which an applicable opt-out right applies. Such a signal does not disable essential access, security, or legal-record processing. We do not currently use cross-site behavioral tracking that changes in response to a browser “Do Not Track” signal; ordinary DNT signals are not treated as permission to track.
California residents may contact us about legally applicable disclosures or direct-marketing sharing rights. The current website does not disclose personal information to unrelated third parties for their own direct marketing. We review material changes to these practices before introducing them.
09Communications and cookie choices
You may withdraw optional marketing permission by contacting legal@pactveris.com or using an unsubscribe control in a promotional message when offered. We may still send necessary responses to your inquiry, security notices, or communications required by law. A suppression record may be retained to respect your request.
Use to view and change optional tracking preferences. Rejecting optional analytics must not block public policy pages or make promotional consent a condition of demo access. Browser controls can remove or block cookies and local storage; blocking necessary demo cookies may prevent the requested demo from working. Clearing storage can also erase your stored preference. Cookie choices apply to the browser and site where they are stored, not automatically to every device or a third-party website.
10International visitors and security
We operate from the United States and use providers with international infrastructure. Information may be processed in the United States and other countries where authorized personnel and providers operate; those countries may have different privacy rules. Where an applicable law requires a transfer mechanism or additional safeguards, we must put an appropriate lawful mechanism in place. Merely visiting the Website is not a blanket waiver of those requirements or a representation that we hold a particular certification.
We use access controls and technical safeguards appropriate to the current website and demo, including encrypted transport, restricted registration storage, and protected access cookies. No website or transmission is guaranteed completely secure. We do not make an absolute security promise or imply a certification that has not been verified.
11Children, third-party links, and changes
The Website and demo are intended for adult business users, not children. We do not knowingly request information from children under 18 through the demo. If you believe a child supplied information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
Linked websites and provider services operate under their own practices. This Policy does not control them. Material changes to our practices will be reflected in an updated Policy and effective date, with additional notice or consent where required. We will not apply a new use retroactively where law requires a different process.
